A little more than a year ago, we opened Fork & Salad on Maui with a mission: #EatLocalEatHealthy. Since then, our farm-to-table eatery has been named Maui’s Best New Restaurant for 2017, won the Friend of Agriculture Award and helped to revitalize Hawai’i’s farm industry through local ingredient sourcing, community and school partnerships, and the Know Your Farmers video series.
Now, there’s even more Maui can be proud of: Fork & Salad is launching a SECOND location, directly across from the Target store in the Pu’unene Shopping Center on Ho’okele Street in Kahului!! This state-of-the-art, custom-designed space will provide indoor seating for more than 30 guests, with dine-in, take-out and pick-up options. Chef Travis is at our new site in the video above.
The Kahului location will offer all the great features you’ve come to enjoy at our Kīhei store, including 50+ fresh ingredients; fast, friendly service, signature or build-your-own salads, sandwiches and soups; gluten-free options; combo deals; keiki menu; kombucha on draft; and virtual ordering via Fork & Salad’s mobile app.
We are also planning to enhance the menu with more signature salads, steak as an added protein, and infused house-made lemonades and iced teas.
The project is currently in the design phase, with building to begin soon and a grand opening to follow. We’re aiming to be open in this central location by late Spring of 2018.
And if you think that was the only big news…well, not quite!! We’re putting together substantial plans to expand the brand beyond Maui in the near future. We can’t release details quite yet, but we’ll certainly keep you posted.
