Chefs Jaron Blosser, Cody Christopher and Travis Morrin began the build-out of their second restaurant, Fork & Salad, in March 2016. A fast, casual salad eatery, Fork & Salad at Azeka Mauka in Kīhei features some unique design elements; most interestingly, the chefs have hand-made nearly everything, from designer tables with maple and birch plywood layers to redwood railings to custom recycling receptacles!
“Everything’s homemade, even the furniture,” laughs Chef Cody, who’s taken the lead with his stellar woodworking skills, crafting most everything in his own garage.  “If you can custom-make it yourself, maybe people don’t know, but every time you walk by it, you’re proud.”
The three call it “sweat equity” and breathe a new meaning into the term “hand-crafted.” Chef Cody and master carpenter Roger Brower (Jaron’s step father) are the duo behind the majority of in-house designed and finished projects. Check out the pictures and see for yourself!
