So in 2016, we started in Kīhei.  And now you know about Kahului, which just opened in June 2018.  But wait… there’s MORE!!  We’re expanding the brand beyond our beautiful island, with plans to open another Fork & Salad in Orange County, CA!!

This marks a major step forward for us, with a third corporate location and first U.S. mainland store in the charming city of Orange.  We think the place is a fantastic fit for Fork & Salad.  It’s a major emerging area that attracts a huge number of young people, since it’s close to Chapman University and just a block from The Circle downtown with close, convenient parking.

As far as exactly where Fork & Salad will be (at 240 W. Chapman Avenue), we’re excited.  Prominently located in the walkable district of Old Towne Orange, there will be seating for more than 45 guests.  The 1,535-square-foot space is in a historically-restored building that features original brick construction from 1922 and open wood truss beams!

Ambitious as ever, we’re aiming to have it open by the end of the year!  Thankfully, we’ve partnered up with a fantastic team in Orange County to accomplish this; you’ll see one of our stellar operational leaders in the video above when he visited Maui earlier this summer.

The Orange location will effectively introduce Fork & Salad to the mainland U.S., and serve as a training store for future franchisee operators via Fransmart, the industry-leading franchise development company exclusively leading the charge to grow our brand.  If you’d like to learn about expanding Fork & Salad’s fresh concept and spirit of aloha into markets nationwide, check out our franchise page.

If you visit Orange once we’re open, you’ll find the same menu favorites you find here on Maui, like build-your-own and signature salads, produce-forward sandwiches, gluten-free items, kombucha on draft and more, available for in-store dining, take-out and pick-up by phone or the Fork & Salad mobile app.

We built Fork & Salad with the mission of making farm-to-table cuisine as healthy, convenient, and affordable as possible, so it can be accessible to the masses. We’ll keep you posted as we progress, and we believe this is only the first step of many to share our taste of Maui with the world!!  #EatLocalThinkMaui
