In 1997, Waipoli Hydroponic Greens was just starting up on a small plot of land in upper Kula.  Since then, its growth has been nothing short of incredible.  The farm now starts, grows and harvests around 30,000 lettuce plants every week!  Our chefs got a chance to tour the hydroponic farm, which has become one of the most recognized and successful brands on the island.  In our video, see how it blends science and skill with the art of agriculture.
