Sharing Our Concept with the Concierge Crowd

The visitor industry plays an important role in our island’s economy, and we all work together to create a memorable Maui experience for those who come here.

On the food front, people are often searching for healthy, local dining options on their vacations and need some simple guidance on where to get it.  That’s where the concierges come in.  They are our partners, helping visitors to understand our concept and the significance of our mission to redefine farm-to-table cuisine.

So, as you’ll see in this video, we hosted a Concierge Appreciation Night at Fork & Salad to thank these island experts.  We wanted our concierge partners to experience Fork & Salad for themselves, so they could then share their knowledge with others. We know that if they love it, their guests will love it too.  What better way to build enthusiasm for our concept than by getting to know us and trying out some of the food that makes us proud?

We were stoked to get a great response, since word-of-mouth is everything for visitors and locals alike. We live on a small island, so it’s important to live by the philosophy “every guest, every time,” no matter what. Concierges recognize and respect that commitment to the guest experience.  It creates trust and confidence that we’ll take care of their guests.

When it comes to customers, we believe first impressions matter.  We take pride in not just our food, but our customer service, ambience, value, cleanliness, and even employee knowledge.  It’s crucial to have that shine clearly from the start.  If you can wow a customer the first time, they’ll likely come back, whether it’s a resident enjoying a meal every few days, or a visitor taking time to stop in on each trip back to Maui.
