Our Grand Blessing, A Special Celebration
It was an evening of gratitude, ‘ohana and loads of fresh produce at Fork & Salad! Hundreds shared in our Grand Opening celebration during Kīhei’s 4th Friday on August 26, 2016. We were so moved by the powerful Hawaiian blessing, led by Kumu Kimokeo Kapahulehua. In addition, Fork & Salad featured food specials, free kombucha samples, a mini-farmers market and beer garden! Our charitable partner Grow Some Good was also on-hand with seed packets and great community outreach. And you can enjoy yet another beer garden on our outdoor patio and farmers market right outside our restaurant at Kīhei’s 4th Friday on September 23 at from 6 to 9 p.m. In this video, take a look at what the special night meant to us, including a look back at how it all began!

One of our goals at Fork & Salad is to craft the salad or sandwich you order in three minutes or faster. But how realistic is that? We put our salad specialists to the test and see if it’s possible. Check out this video as Chef Travis goes down the line.

As Fork & Salad gets closer and closer to opening, our walk-in cooler is starting to fill up! Chef Travis gives us a quick look inside to check out some of Fork & Salad’s very FIRST produce order, after picking up the fruits and veggies at local farms.
