It started as a Ford dealership back in 1922.  Now?  It’s the modern, welcoming home of Fork & Salad’s first mainland venture!  Our new building is located at 240 W. Chapman Avenue in the very charming historic district of Old Towne Orange in California.

The 28 local employees of Fork & Salad Orange have gone through extensive training to understand what Aloha Spirit means, and aim to serve customers in a friendly, knowledgeable and efficient way.  Convenience is a huge factor for us, with a goal to get you your order in three minutes or faster.  We also have a free mobile app, online ordering and easy take-out options; catering services for groups; and food delivery choices like Door Dash, Grub Hub and Uber Eats.

In Orange, our menu features 10 signature salads, two grain bowls, six sandwiches and daily soups. We have five types of greens, five proteins and 11 gluten-free dressings.  Kombucha is on draft, and we have house-made lemonades and black teas. In Orange, we are also offering skinny teas in cucumber mint and daily flavors.  Along with local vendors like Bread Artisan Bakery and Bootstrap Kombucha, our produce supplier sources 90% of its items locally from Southern and Central California farms.

We also feature the Orange Home Grown Seasonal Salad, a special item that changes with the seasons and showcases produce from the Orange Home Grown Farmers and Artisans Market, which happens in Old Towne Orange every Saturday. As part of our giveback program, a portion of each salad purchase will benefit Orange Home Grown Foundation all year long. The local nonprofit is dedicated to bringing awareness of healthy living and urban agriculture to the local community.

Orange Home Grown also hosted a pop-up farm truck stand during our Grand Opening party on Friday, June 21st, which kicked off with an amazing Hawaiian blessing to infuse the new space with Aloha Spirit! Cultural practitioner Kimokeo Kapahulehua flew in from Maui to lead the ceremony; get a taste of it in our video above.   We were honored to be so welcomed into the community, with lines that stretched around the block!  Plus we received a wonderful visit from Orange mayor Mark Murphy (who even took part in the blessing!) and a certificate of recognition from the California State Senate.  See our initial quick kick-off video here…

We’re open daily in Orange from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and our 1,535-square-foot space includes seating for more than 40 guests, including a spacious outdoor patio with umbrellas. To learn more and stay up-to-date on the latest happenings at our California branch, find Fork & Salad O.C. on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

This is our third corporate Fork & Salad location, following eateries in Kīhei and Kahului, Maui, and fourth restaurant for the business (including Three’s Bar & Grill). This venture provides a solid example of our efficient design and healthy fast-casual concept, since Orange will serve as a training store for future franchisee operators as we expand. Those interested in joining the Fork & Salad ‘ohana as franchisees will receive comprehensive training and support from start to finish, from site selection expertise and simple floor plans to custom training systems and localized brand building.
