To keep a business running smoothly takes dedication, knowledge and strong leadership. We’re grateful our new general manager Chris Goff has all those qualities and more. Chris brings decades of experience in the food and beverage industry, as you’ll see in our video above. He’s also no stranger to our company, managing front-of-the-house operations at Three’s Bar & Grill and being promoted to catering captain for Three’s Catering before taking on this new, important role as general manager at Fork & Salad Kahului.
“The concept they’ve created is exciting,” says Chris. “It’s something people can enjoy on their lunch break, or while running around town with their families. We have return customers, and getting to know them as been a lot of fun.”
Chris has trained with co-owner Travis Morrin to learn the ins and outs of the recipes and techniques for the variety of proteins, fresh ingredients and housemade, gluten-free dressings. He also enjoys the cooperation and respect between employees in the front and back of the house.
“Everybody communicates really well,” says Chris, who aims to be an approachable manager. “I would like for people to look at me as someone they can talk to; I’m not intimidating, I like to get along with people, I like to motivate people, I want people to look forward to come into work.”
Chris is also happy to be part of a thriving company that continues to grow; that includes our first mainland Fork & Salad, which we’re aiming to open within the next few weeks in Orange, California!!
